Here are simple steps to transfer data from one Android device to another
Transferring data from one Android device to another can be done using various methods, including built-in features, third-party apps, or cloud services. Whether upgrading to a new phone or switching to a different model, ensuring a smooth data transition is essential. Below are multiple methods that you can try to transfer data between Android devices:
Using Google Backup and Restore
1. On your source Android device, go to “Settings” > “System” > “Backup” (or similar).
2. Enable “Back up to Google Drive” and select the data types you want to back up, such as apps, contacts, photos, etc.
3. Tap “Backup now” to start the backup process.
4. sign in with the same Google account used for performing the backup on a new target Android device.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts until you reach the “Copy apps & data” screen.
6. Choose “Restore from backup” and select the backup you made earlier from the list.
7. Follow the prompts to complete the restoration process.
